Over 200 business leaders, investors, and foreign dignitaries gathered for the first-ever Quezon City Investors Summit in Novotel Manila.

With the theme “QC is future ready,” the summit aims to bring businesses and potential investors together to generate investments for the city, build partnerships favorable to QCitizens, and make Quezon City the top-of-mind preferred investment destination.

Mayor Joy Belmonte warmly welcomed the attendees, which included top leaders in business, national agencies, sister cities, business chambers, non-government organizations, as well as dignitaries and representatives from New Zealand, Singapore, Indonesia, Ireland, France, Denmark, Israel, United States, Germany, Great Britain, and Manila Economic and Cultural Office.

Department of Trade and Industry Secretary Alfredo E. Pascual served as the keynote speaker of the Investors Summit.

Breakout sessions were also initiated after the program, with the five major thrusts of the city government as topics for discussion including social services for all, economic development, environmental sustainability, high-caliber infrastructure, and good governance.

Vice Mayor Gian Sotto, City Administrator Mike Alimurung, city councilors, and city government department heads also graced the summit.
