The recognition, in partnership with Metro Pacific Investments, Meralco, and mWell, honors local government units (LGUs) that demonstrate visionary leadership, strong community collaboration, and impactful programs that improve learning outcomes.
As the largest schools division in the country, Quezon City caters to over 426,000 public elementary and secondary students, underscoring the city’s critical role in shaping the future of Philippine education.
The accolade reflects not only the city’s scale but its strategic commitment to inclusive and transformative governance.
Under the stewardship of Mayor Joy Belmonte, Quezon City has prioritized education as a cornerstone of progress, leveraging transparency, stakeholder engagement, and innovative policies to ensure equitable access to learning opportunities.
