Quezon City has officially announced its bid to become a UNESCO Creative City of Film.

This initiative aims to promote the rich cinematic heritage of the city and its continued commitment to fostering creativity, protecting cultural heritage, and promoting inclusive development.

According to Mayor Joy Belmonte, becoming a UNESCO Creative City of Film is not just a recognition of our past achievements but an opportunity to redefine our future in the global film community.
