The Quezon City Government has launched its latest tourism slogan, “QC: More to Explore,” in a bid to establish its status as a premier cultural and tourism destination in Metro Manila.

The branding initiative seeks to highlight the city’s rich history, cultural heritage, and diverse attractions for both local and international travelers.

“This is more than just a slogan—it’s a statement that Quezon City is a thriving destination with something new and exciting at every turn,” said Mayor Joy Belmonte.

“We want to inspire our QCitizens, tourists, and visitors to immerse themselves in everything QC has to offer,” she added.

Inspired by the city’s official colors—blue, red, and yellow—the new branding logo features a classic yet dynamic modern design. The tagline “More to Explore” encapsulates the city’s vastness and endless opportunities for discovery, inviting visitors to experience QC’s dynamic blend of history, culture, nature, and entertainment.

The city also unveiled its new tourism video, which was created in collaboration with QCinema filmmakers. The promotional video takes a fresh, engaging approach to storytelling, using wit and creativity to showcase the city’s must-visit destinations and hidden gems, such as premier tourist spots and lesser-known attractions, historical landmarks, culinary delights, and eco-friendly sites. It featured stories from adventure seekers, food lovers, and art enthusiasts.

The video is a call to explore beyond the usual sights and an invitation to dive deeper into QC’s cultural fabric.

“We want visitors to see that QC is not just a getaway but a destination in itself—full of history, culture, and unique experiences that make it truly special,” Quezon City Tourism Department Acting Tourism Operations Chief Giana Aira Barata explained.

After the launch, content creators and members of the media were invited to the QC Time Capsule Day Tour, which showcased different sites and attractions in the city. The trip included the Presidential Car Museum, the Mira Nila Heritage House, Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar, The UP Oblation by National Artist Guillermo Tolentino, the Parish of the Holy Sacrifice in UP, and the Maginhawa Arts and Food Hub.

The City is also home to some of the country’s grandest events such as the historic La Naval de Manila Celebrations, the prestigious QCinema International Film Festival, and the biggest Pride March in South-East Asia.
Likewise, Quezon City has several sites where significant turning points in Philippine history took place, like the Cry at Pugad Lawin, the Battle of San Mateo, and the EDSA People Power Revolution making it stand out as the birthplace of Filipino Nationhood.

“We are proud of what Quezon City has become, and this branding reflects our vision for a future where our city continues to grow as a cultural and tourism powerhouse,” Mayor Belmonte said.

The new tourism branding underscores the city’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and cultural preservation. With “QC: More to Explore,” the local government hopes to attract more tourists while encouraging QCitizens to rediscover their hometown’s hidden treasures.
