Ganap nang ipinangalan kay National Artist for Film Fernando Poe, Jr. ang Light Rail Transit-1 (LRT-1) station sa Lungsod Quezon.

Pinasinayaan ngayong araw ang bagong marker ng dating Roosevelt station na ngayon ay Fernando Poe Jr. Station. Alinsunod ito sa RA 11608 na naisabatas nitong 2021 kung saan pinalitan ang Roosevelt Avenue bilang FPJ Avenue.

Dumalo sa programa si Assistant City Administrator for Operations Alberto Kimpo bilang kinatawan ni Mayor Joy Belmonte, kasama sina District 1 Rep. Arjo Atayde, Senator Grace Poe, Senator Lito Lapid, former Senate President Tito Sotto III, Coco Martin, Light Rail Management Corporation President and CEO Juan Alfonso, at Department of Transportation Usec. Cesar Chavez.
