Aabot sa 122 pusa ang kinapon ng Quezon City Veterinary Department (QCVD) ngayong araw bilang paggunita sa World Spay Day.

Ang mga pusa ay ni-rescue ng QCVD sa Quezon Memorial Circle (QMC). Binigyan na rin sila ng mga bakuna, multivitamins, at nilagyan ng microchip. Dewormed na rin ang mga ito.

Katuwang ng lokal na pamahalaan sa aktibidad ang QMC, at Animal Kingdom Foundation na nagbigay ng collar, cat food, at feeders.
