Task Force Sampaguita Rescue Operations

Sinagip ng Quezon City Government sa pangunguna ng Task Force Sampaguita ang aabot sa 377 mendicants, kabilang ang 167 na children in street situation (CISS), sa isinagawang malawakang rescue operations kagabi.

Alinsunod sa utos ni Mayor Joy Belmonte, sinuyod ng TF Sampaguita ang 36 na lugar sa anim na distrito ng QC para iligtas ang mga indibidwal at bata mula sa kapahamakan. Mahinahon silang isinama ng TF Sampaguita at dinala sa Quezon Memorial Circle para sa processing.

Pagkatapos ng security check ng Quezon City Police District (QCPD), ina-assess, chine-check up at isinasalang din sa antigen test ng mga doktor ng QC Health Department ang mga ni-rescue. Sumasailalim din sila sa interview ng mga social worker ng Social Services Development Department (SSDD), at Profiling ng QC Public Employment Service Office (QC PESO).

Ang mga mare-rescue na taga-Quezon City ay masusing ia-assess at kakausapin. May itatalaga ring social worker sa kanila para alamin ang kanilang sitwasyon upang maibigay ang angkop na programa at serbisyo sa kanila. Ang non-QC residents naman ay ire-refer at ihahatid sa LGU kung saan sila nakatira.

Ang TF Sampaguita ay pinagsanib-pwersang departamento ng lokal na pamahalaan, kabilang ang Office of the City Mayor, SSDD, PESO, Quezon City Police District (QCPD), Department of Public Order and Safety (DPOS), QC Health Department (QCHD), TF Disiplina, Transport and Traffic Management Department (TTMD), City Epidemiology and Surveillance Unit (CESU), Quezon Memorial Circle Administration, QC Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (QCDRRMO), General Services Department (GSD), QC Anti-Drug Abuse and Advisory Council (QCADAAC), Barangay and Community Relations Department (BCRD), City Legal Department, QC Bangsamoro Affairs Service, Public Affairs and Information Services Department (PAISD) at mga barangay.
