Quezon City has been selected as one of the cities to join US-based The Carter Center’s Inform Women, Transform Lives Campaign.

Launched in 2021, the Inform Women, Transform Lives Campaign aims to expand women’s awareness and access to city programs and services through multiple information channels and platforms.

With the program, the city will be able to improve the quality of lives of women and their families, as well as their communities through increased access to information and necessary services.

Mayor Joy Belmonte on Tuesday personally met with The Carter Center Rule of Law Program Senior Advisor and campaign lead Laura Neuman to discuss the advocacy. She also received a blue cap in celebration of Former US President Jimmy Carter’s 99th birthday.
