Nakiisa ang Quezon City Government sa adbokasiya ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) sa pagsusulong ng kahalagahan ng tamang pagboto at pagpili ng kandidato sa muling paglulunsad ng Ugnayan ng Barangay at Simbahan (UBAS) Voters Education Advocacy Campaign.

Ngayong hapon, naging saksi si Mayor Joy Belmonte sa opisyal na paglulunsad ng UBAS at paglagda nina Liga ng mga Barangay President Coun. Alfredo Roxas at Diocese of Cubao Bishop Most Rev. Honesto Ongtioco ng Tipan ng Simbahan at Barangay para sa Mabuting Pamamahala.

Sa kanyang talumpati, binigyang-diin ng alkalde na malaki ang naitulong ng UBAS sa pagbubuklod ng komunidad, lalo na sa matagumpay na implementasyon ng community-based drug rehabilitation program ng lungsod.

Kasama rin ng alkalde sa pagtitipon sina DILG QC Director Emmanuel Borromeo, COMELEC QC Election Officer Atty. Zennia Ledesma-Magno, QC Schools Division Superintendent Carlene Sedilla, at Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Community Affairs and Development Division chief Benjamin Ariola.
