Announcement from Mayor Joy Belmonte:

With Metro Manila under Tropical Cyclone wind number 2 based on PAGASA’s 11 pm weather bulletin, classes from kindergarten to senior high school are suspended today, October 26, 2020, following old guidelines for class suspension.

I am however requesting the Department of Education and the Metro Manila Council through the leadership of its president Mayor Edwin Olivarez to craft a policy that should apply while distance, blended learning is being implemented, given the fact that many of our students are enrolled in schools outside of our jurisdiction and we likewise have students from other parts of Metro Manila enrolled in our schools.
