As Quezon City welcomes 2025, Mayor Joy Belmonte has assured QCitizens of the local government’s unwavering commitment to the city’s progress and community development.
Looking back at 2024, Mayor Belmonte lauded QCitizens for coming together to weather various challenges, from natural calamities such as storms and floods to personal and professional struggles.
“Naging mapanghamon ang 2024 para sa ating lahat. At tulad ng mga nakaraang taon, isang komunidad tayong nagdamayan, nagtulungan, at nagpakita ng malasakit,” Mayor Belmonte said in a video together with Vice Mayor Gian Sotto.
“Sa 2025, hangad natin ang patuloy na pag-unlad ng ating lungsod. Pangarap natin na sa bawat araw, uusad tayo tungo sa ating mga pangarap—para sa mas mabuting kundisyon ng ating komunidad, ng ating pamilya, at ng bawat isa,” Vice Mayor Sotti said.
Belmonte also conveyed her wishes for a prosperous, joyous, and meaningful 2025 for QCitizens, assuring that the local government is always ready to assist them in every step of their journey.
“Kaya naman from our official family here at the City Government, and from our families at home, ipinararating po namin sa inyo ang taos-puso naming pagbati… May every day of 2025 give you joy,” she added.
Belmonte also called on her constituent to look forward to a 2025 filled with promise and opportunities, encouraging them to pursue their goals, whether personal, professional, or community-centered.
