In the years since the establishment of Barangay Masagana, its many notable achievements include:
1973 – Registration of voters; became members of the referendum Committee; sold NGA rice and corn; participated in cleanliness and beautification campaigns; donated garbage cans from MERALCO and other companies; and encouraged each business place to have its own garbage can.
1974 – Family census started in the Barangay; attended Barangay Police Relations Seminars; counted and reported the postings without lights; held meetings of the Barangay Leaders in connection with the Quezon City Police Station; established volunteer guards to patrol the barangay.
Barangay Masagana has won its share of awards and recognitions through the years for sports as well as for being an Outstanding Barangay.
