Barangay San Antonio was created on August 28, 1961 by virtue of Quezon City Ordinance No. 61-4827 and amended by City Ordinance No. 61-4872 as approved on October 30, 1961.
In December 1961, the first Barrio Elections were held and Gerardo Pasco emerged as the winning candidate for the position of Barrio Lieutenant. The Barrio Council was composed of Atty. Alfredo Pineda, Atty. Cesar Solis, Mr. Solomon Saprid and Mr. Cesar Celis. In November 1969, the Mayor Norberto Amoranto appointed Gerardo Pasco as Barrio Captain of Barrio San Antonio.
