Upang maprotektahan ang mga batang QCitizen mula sa iba-ibang vaccine-preventable diseases tulad ng polio, tigdas, at rubella, sinimulan na ng Quezon City Government ang isang buwang Chikiting Ligtas vaccination program sa pakikipagtulungan sa Department of Health (DOH).

Nagbahay-bahay ang mga health worker sa komunidad ng Sitio Militar sa Barangay Bahay Toro para bakunahan nang libre ang mga bata mula edad 0-59 months (bago maglimang taon).

Ang kick-off ceremony ay dinaluhan nina Vice Mayor Gian Sotto, DOH Metro Manila Center for Health Development Assistant Regional Director Dr. Pretchell Tolentino, District 1 Action Officer Ollie Belmonte, QC Health Department District Health Officer Dr. Elenita Plata, Dr. Hasan Reazul ng World Health Organization, at Bahay Toro Chairperson Dennis Caboboy.

Sa mga magulang na nais pabakunahan ang kanilang anak, maaaring pumunta sa pinakamalapit na health center sa inyong lugar.
