The Quezon City Government and Quezon City Health Department have organized intensified Cervical and Breast Cancer Screening programs for QCitizens to aid in the prevention and increase of cancer survivorship in the city through early detection. 

For the Cervical Cancer Screening program, the city government has partnered with Jhpiego Philippines and in cooperation with Women Workers for Health Empowerment (WHEN), to further expand the program in selected pharmaceuticals apart from the existing free examination in health centers and lying-in clinics.

With the expansion and further intensification of the service, a more accessible and convenient way of screening is provided which is necessary in achieving women empowerment and a healthier society.
