The city government has partnered with several historians to identify some oft historical sites located in the city.  The effort aims to promote the city as a viable historical tourism area.

  1. MIRA-NILA HERITAGE HOUSE, GARDENS AND LIBRARY
    • 26 Mariposa St., Brgy. Bagong Lipunan, Cubao, Quezon City
      • A grand Filipino ancestral house of the Benitez family with its Italianate facade, meticulously preserved interiors, and graceful lawns and gardens – one of the few surviving examples of what life used to be in pre-war Philippines. Mira-Nila was the residence of the late Senator Helena Tirona Benitez and her parents, Conrado and Francisca Benitez. Mira Nila is a declared Heritage House by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines and currently houses a museum.
  2. QUEZON SHRINE – MUSEO NI QUEZON
    • Quezon Memorial Circle, Brgy. Central, Elliptical Road, Diliman, QC
      • The monument consists of three 66-meter vertical pylons symbolizing the age of Quezon when he died.  On top of this are the three mourning angels representing Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao holding sampaguita wreaths. The “Museo ni Manuel Quezon” inside the Shrine showcases President Quezon’s life and political career.
  3. QUEZON HERITAGE HOUSE (MANUEL L. QUEZON)
    • Quezon Memorial Circle, Brgy. Central, Elliptical Road, Diliman, QC
      • The Quezon Heritage House is the only surviving home of the late president in Metro Manila. Sixty percent of the original house in Gilmore was used to reconstruct the house building. It was opened to the public as a museum featuring the Quezon family’s interiors, furnishing, and properties.
  4. PRESIDENTIAL CAR MUSEUM
    • Quezon Memorial Circle, Brgy. Central, Elliptical Road, Diliman, QC
      • The museum displays the National Historical Commission of the Philippines collection of cars used by former Presidents of the Philippines during their term of office, restored to their original condition. It was inaugurated on August 19, 2018.
  5. TZU-CHI FOUNDATION
    • 76 Cordillera St. corner Agno St., Quezon City
      • The Tzu Chi Foundation is a humanitarian, volunteer-driven non-profit organization that was founded in Taiwan in 1966 and established in the Philippines in November 1994. It has been in the Philippines for 27 years, working in disaster-stricken areas and transforming lives through its various programs in disaster relief and rehabilitation, education, medicine, and environmental protection.
  6. SHENG LIAN TEMPLE
    • 159 Bayani St, Brgy Doña Imelda, Quezon City
      • The Sheng Lian Temple is considered the oldest temple in Quezon City, established in the 1960s. It is headed by Father Wongsengtian, a feng shui expert.
