The Quezon City government, through the Gender and Development (GAD) Council, has partnered with the Pride PH Coalition and UP Diliman (UPD) in staging the annual Love Laban Pride Festival.
The event features multiple activities celebrating equality, diversity and inclusivity, showcasing the LGBTQIA+ community’s vibrancy through the following:
- Pride Expo – a dynamic marketplace of advocacy featuring LGBTQIA+ and allied organizations.
- Pride Villages – food, art, music, and safe spaces located at Araneta City, Cubao, and Maginhawa.
- Pride March – uniting thousands of LGBTQIA+ members and allies to march and demand change.
- Pride Night – a night of electrifying tribute to queer brilliance, excellence, and resistance featuring diverse and colorful performances.
The Love Laban festival serves as a platform for the queer community to call for a more inclusive Philippines.
In coordination with other city departments, security personnel, traffic enforcers, healthcare workers, and emergency response units were deployed to ensure peace and everyone’s safety during the event.
Apart from local food and non-food concessionaires, the local government has also set up stalls in the area, bringing services of every gender.
In June 2026, apart from hosting the first-ever Maginhawa Pride Village, the local government has consistently recorded a remarkable number of QC and pp-QC LGBTQIA+ members and allies attending the city’s pride event.
2023- 110,000 participants
2024- 228,000 participants
2025- 250,000 participants
2026- 320,000++ participants
