The Quezon City Government launched the Green Awards to give recognition to organizations and institutions protecting the environment and taking action in disaster risk reduction management.
The program aims to:
- Inspire and encourage city-wide programs, initiatives, and practices on Climate Action and Disaster Risk Reduction
- Continuously educate QCitizens, barangay leaders, youth, and businesses on Climate Action and Disaster Risk Reduction
- Showcase Quezon City’s best practices and contributions to the country’s climate and resilience objectives
- Establish Quezon City as a global model of excellence in Climate Action and Disaster Risk Reduction
