The Quezon City Government has started a fundraising activity through Kilo\s Kyusi: Kilo Store ng Bayan that sells pre-loved clothes, shoes and accessories by the kilo. 

The program has been institutionalized to be a city program to generate funds for the city’s Learning Recovery Program which aims to support various tutoring programs including the Zero Illiteracy Program. 

With Kilo/s Kyusi, the city government accepts donations and sells them to QCitizens. Proceeds are then forwarded to the city’s Learning Recovery Trust Fund.

A permanent store has been constructed for donors and buyers of the Kilo/s Kyusi program which is located at QC Hall Park and Lagoon, Quezon City Hall Compound. The store is open from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
