The Quezon City government through the Gender and Development Council Office has organized an annual Commitment Ceremony for the LGBTQIA+ Couples.
Hundreds of members of the community have been participating yearly in the exchange of vows officiated by Mayor Joy Belmonte and witnessed by other city officials.
The ceremony is part of the local government’s goal to provide a place where every member of the community is well-respected and treated equally. The city also aims to protect the rights of all QCitizens against Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity Expression (SOGIE) discrimination and prevent gender-based violence in QC.
Quezon City has always been known for being vocal on its continuous support and rally for equality, diversity and inclusivity for all QCitizens.
QCitizens who wish to register must have the following:
- Application Form
- QCItizen ID
- Must be 18 years old and above
- Must have 1 witness
