The Quezon City Government has set up an Animal Bite Treatment Center for animal bites and scratches located in each QC district.
These animal bite centers were built to administer free and more accessible immediate treatment for every QCitizen’s safety to prevent the risk of rabies.
The treatment centers are located in the following areas:
District 1: Project 6 Health Center, Road 8 Alley 3, Project 6
District 2: Bataan Hills Super Health Center, IBP Road, Batasan Hills
District 3: Socorro Health Center, 115th Ave. Socorro
District 4: Tatalon Health Center, 31 Victory Ave. Tatalon
District 5: Kaligayahan Health Center, 7 Kingfisher St., Kaligayahan
District 6: Melchora Aquino Health Center, Loboc St., NIA, NPC Tandang Sora
To avail the program, adult QCitizens are required to bring their QCitizen IDs or any valid ID addressed in QC, while National Immunization Program (NIP) vaccination cards or school IDs are necessary for children. The vaccines given are free of charge and the treatment facilities are open from Monday to Friday, 8:00AM – 4:00PM.
