The Quezon City Government has launced the Quezon City Sewing Community from various parts of the city that aims to create a women’s cooperative.  As a grassroots program, it aims to provide livelihood and income to the women of Quezon City. 

The city’s requirements such as Personal Protective Equipment, among others will be coursed through the program to ensure orders and income.

The city government together with SPARK Philippines and the Department of Trade and Industry have provided starter sewing kits to the women of Barangay Santo Cristo and Barangay Greater Lagro. This is to jumpstart the cooperative’s business and income.
