The pandemic has shaken everyone’s routine and lifestyle. It has brought extreme anxiety and confusion to our constituents and patients especially here in District II where it one of the areas with high cases of COVID-19. The RMBGH webinar series was initiated by the clinical departments to do a lay man forum via Webinar to reach our constituents and share our knowledge and expertise to them.
In this time, patients are often hesitant to visit the hospital for consultation hence, physician’s has a limited face to face consultations. Through this project, it aims to alleviate their fears and anxieties and help them cope with pandemic and new normal.
The title of the Webinar Series is: “Kaalaman, Kalusugan at Kaligtasan sa Panahon ng Pandemya (CoVid-19) with the following objectives:
- To educate the community and increase their awareness about CoVid -19
- To be able to address common medical health issues and concerns about CoVid-19
- To provide a platform where they can interact with the Medical Specialists
Since the 25th of September 2020, every Friday from 10:00 am to 12:00 NN we conduct a webinar through Zoom and Facebook Live. We make sure that the topics are highly relevant to their day to day lives. Through the webinar we provide holistic care by providing information regarding their Biological, Psychosocial, Economic, and Cultural aspects that affected by the Pandemic. The patients are given opportunities to participate in the seminar and ask medical specialist regarding their concern.
