The Quezon City Government’s City Bus Program, organized by the Office of the City Administrator (OCA), serves as a vital means of transportation for thousands of commuters daily, offering free rides and helping to ease traffic congestion.
The program is poised to help ease traffic congestion in Quezon City as it enables the productive use of limited road space with its capacity to transport dozens of commuters at a time. It also follows a bus trip schedule, and buses stop only at designated pick-up and drop-off points along their routes.
The on-ground operations of the program are spearheaded by the Traffic and Transport Management Department (TTMD), led by Mr. Dexter Cardenas.
As of May 2025, the program has reached over 34 million ridership since it was established during the pandemic. The QCity Bus Program passes by eight (8) routes and is open to the public.
To know more about the QCity Bus program and its updated routes and schedules, follow the official QC Government FB Page or check out the QCity Bus Routes under QCitizen Guides. QCitizens may also get in touch with OCA for concerns or coordinate with TTMD regarding the valuables they may have forgotten on the bus.
