The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas partners with Quezon City Government, the Department of Interior and Local Government and Gcash to introduce the QR payment system in all public market transactions and tricycle ride services.

The project aims to introduce digital transactions to all Quezon City public markets and encourages tricycle operators to join in the road to digitalization.

All market vendors and tricycle operators are given their respective Gcash QR Codes for a faster and more convenient way of payment.

The local government will ensure digital connectivity with its 3,500 Go Wifi spots across the city
