The Quezon City Government through the Small Business and Cooperatives Development and Promotions Office (SBCDPO) has partnered with the Polytechnic University of the Philippines Special Programs and Projects Office (SPPO) in providing further mentorship and technical assistance to the city’s Micro, Small Enterprises and Cooperatives (MSEC) through the QCertified Roadmap program.
Under the program, MSEC in the food processing industry were given free access to PUP Food Processing and Testing Center Shared Service Facility (FPTC-SSF) which will help them ensure the quality of their products.
Through the partnership, they will also receive mentoring in food processing, packaging and even in securing their accreditation and needed certifications from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
PUP also conducts seminars on financial literacy for the business owners.
