The PANGKABUHAYANG QC is a livelihood and financial assistance program set up by the Quezon City Government through its Small Business and Cooperative Development and Promotions Office (SBCDPO) aimed at helping and supporting the growth of QCitizens ‘ businesses.
A cash assistance amounting to Php 10,000 to Php 20,000, depending on the applicant’s business plan, is distributed to thousands of approved beneficiaries to contribute to their initial capital. They will also receive training from partner agencies.
PANGKABUHAYANG QC will assist the following:
- Micro Entrepreneurs
- Unemployed Solo Parent
- Persons with Disabilities (PWD)
- Returning OFW or Member of OFW Household
- Completers of Livelihood/Entrepreneurship Training programs (16 hours or more) that are endorsed by Quezon City Government, National Government, and other city-partnered training institutions.
As of March 2026, the program has approved the application of 70,146 beneficiaries since it started in 2021. Pangkabuhayang QC has now provided a total of ₱735,795,000 in cash assistance.
The program was initially created to accommodate those severely affected QCitizen by the COVID-19 pandemic.
