The local government of Quezon City through the city’s Social Services Development Department (SSDD) grants Php 1,000 cash subsidy to hundreds of qualified solo parent beneficiaries in Quezon City. 

The cash assistance received every month for 12 months is in accordance with the Expanded Solo Parents Welfare Act that aims to provide support and protection to solo parents and their children. 

As of 2024, the program has already assisted about 4,816 solo parent beneficiaries.
