The Quezon City Government, through the QC Youth Development Office (QCYDO), launches the Quezon City Scholarship Program (QCSP), which provides financial assistance, in the form of a tuition grant and/or a stipend, to deserving students, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds.
To be eligible for the program, the aspiring scholar must:
- Be a resident of Quezon City
- Not a scholar of another Local Government Unit
- Be enrolled/registered/accepted at, or be certified as a student by, an educational institution recognized by the city
- Meet the qualifications for the Scholarship Category/subcategory being applied for

- Scholarship for Senior High School Students
- Academic Scholarship
- Specialized Track Scholarship
- Athletic and Arts Scholarship
- Youth Leaders Scholarship
- Scholarship for Tertiary Students
- QC Excel Scholarship
- Manuel L. Quezon Filipino Language and Literature Scholarship
- Academic Scholarship
- Athletic and Arts Scholarship
- Youth Leaders Scholarship
- Economic Scholarship
- Scholarship for Postgraduate Students
- Scholarship for Continuing Education/Vocational Courses Students
The city government also offers a Creative Writing and Literary Grant for students, educators, or practitioners of the Filipino language, literature, or creative writing.

The renewal process for senior high school students’ scholarships is done every school year, while scholarships for tertiary and postgraduate students are renewed each term or semester.
In 2024, through the Ordinance No. SP- 3283, the scholarship program was expanded to serve more sectors.
As of May 2026, the city has a total of 50,165 scholars since its implementation in 2019.
