Looking forward to the opening of a new school year, the QC government launched the first ever “Quarantalks QC: A Webinar Series for Parents as Stakeholders in Education” last September 2020.
This was made possible in collaboration with the Schools Division Office-Quezon City and the city’s PTA Federation. Quarantalks QC serves as a platform for additional information, the dissemination of activities to help prepare for the opening of schools, and to answer concerns regarding blended learning modalities.
Speakers in the talks include chosen district councilors, representatives from various branches of the city government, as well as parents sharing their insight, questions, and comments. Previous webinars include District 5’s Lala Sotto sharing tips to fellow parents and their children about protocols when going online, and Dr. Esperanza Escano-Arias, head of the QC Health Dept, speaking on best household safety measures to adopt during a pandemic.
All previous and forthcoming talks can be accessed and viewed at the Quezon City Government and Schools Division Office-Quezon City Facebook pages.
