In conjunction with the implementation of Community Quarantine, the city government launched the book “What Kids Should Know About Quezon City” with a writing competition dubbed “Why I Love Quezon City: Essay Writing Contest” last August 5, 2020.

Printed in collaboration with Adarna Publishing House and made through the endeavors of the QC Education Affairs Unit, the book aims to inform the youth about the colorful history of Quezon City, as well as to inspire and deepen the appreciation for the people, the landmark events, and the culture of the city.    “What Kids Should Know About Quezon City” has been distributed to the city’s public school libraries and is also available in digital format.
