CITY TREASURER’S OFFICE
The Community Tax Certificate, also referred to as Cedula, is essential for most government transactions, serving as both a primary and secondary form of identification. Individuals or corporations receive this certificate upon paying the community tax, which can be done at the individual’s residence or the main office of the organization.
Note: Cedula is valid for one year from the date of issuance.
ELIGIBILITY:
- Resident of the Philippines 18 years old and above
- Individuals who have earned salaries for at least 30 consecutive working days during the calendar year
- Those who own a business or are engaged in business within the city
- Those who have a real estate property or a collective asset value of PHP 1,000 and above within the city
- Those who are required by law to file income tax returns
REQUIREMENTS:
- Accomplished Community Tax Declaration Form (CTDF) from City Treasurer’s Office
- Valid government-issued ID
- Proof of Income
- Copy of Payslips
- BIR form 2316 or the Certificate of Compensation Payment or Income Tax Withheld
- For authorized representative:
- Valid government-issued ID of the representative
- Authorization Letter with a photocopy of the valid government-issued ID of individual being represented
STEPS:
- Upon filling out the Community Tax Declaration Form, proceed to the counter intended for encoding of information.
- Pay the required amount (depends on the income of the taxpayer) and receive the computerized CTC.
