The Quezon City Government, through the Department of Public Orders and Safety (DPOS), has installed bicycle ramps for city bikers, allowing safe and convenient crossings of high-traffic corridors, and bike racks for secure, convenient parking at their destinations.
The bike ramps can be found along footbridges on the city’s major roads, while bike racks are distributed in public establishments as end-of-trip (EOT) facilities.
Apart from that, in cooperation with the Department of Transportation (DOTr), a 2-kilometer-long elevated bike lane along Elliptical Road and bike sheds providing secure, weather-protected parking were established.
This initiative is part of the city’s efforts to improve accessibility and sustainability, as well as promote safety among cyclists, fulfilling the city’s mission to make Quezon City a bike-friendly city.
As of April 2026, the city has a total of 23 bike ramps installed and 101 bike racks distributed.
