The Quezon City Government through its Quezon City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office has prepositioned and installed water purifiers and onion tanks in preparation for the rainy season.

It is the objective of this project to continue water supply in the affected areas and ensure that potable water is available.

These water purifiers and onion tanks collect rain water and transforms tainted water to dry water.  These equipment can produce 30,000 liters/day to ensure that there is no disruption in the water supply. The water purifiers and onion tanks are located in the Regional Evacuation Center in Fairview, Barangay Socorro and Barangay Bagong Silangan.
