  1. REGISTER ONLINE
    To generate the Building Permit Application forms and the Checklist of Requirements. Please visit our permitting portal for this https://qceservices.quezoncity.gov.ph
  2. PHYSICAL SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS
    Set date of appointment https://qceservices.quezoncity.gov.ph for the physical submission of documentary requirements based on the Checklist of Requirements.
  3. COMPLETE DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS
    Complete documentary requirements will be provided a Building Permit Application number which will be used to follow up/check the status of the Permit Application.
  4. TIMELINE:
    The processing time will differ according to the project:
  • Simple projects
  • Complex projects

Five (5) working days

Ten (10) working days
**For complex projects, the processing time in order to secure a Locational Clearance from the City Planning and Development Office, and the Fire Safety Evaluation Clearance from the Bureau of Fire are excluded from the abovementioned ten (10) day period.

FOR THE INFORMATION OF THE APPLICANT:

  1. Whenever the documentary requirements for the Building Permit Application are complete, and the Building Permit Application satisfies the minimum requirements of the National Building Code of the Philippines and its Referral Codes, the Order of Payment shall be issued accordingly. Stated differently, when the application is incomplete and does not satisfy the minimum requirements of the law, the Permit application will not be processed and approved.
  2. For a project to be considered a simple project, these pertain to simple structures:
    • SIMPLE STRUCTURES– those with a maximum total floor area of 1,500 sq. meters:
      • Single dwelling residential building which is not more than three (3) storeys high;
      • Commercial building which is not more than two (2) storeys high;
      • Interior renovation of a building. The building to be renovated must be properly covered by a valid Building Permit and Certificate of Occupancy; or
      • Warehouse which is not more than two (2) storeys high and not used for storage of hazardous and/or combustible materials.
    • COMPLEX STRUCTURE– any structure which is not considered a simple structure.
