The Local Government of Quezon City through the QC Small Business and Cooperatives Development and Promotions Office (QC-SBCDPO), launched the Be Your Own Boss – QC Youth Entrepreneurship Program (BYOB-QCYEP) for Out-of-School Youth to help them start their own business. 

Under the program, participating QCitizen youth who are unable to graduate are provided with entrepreneurship training and capital for self-employment, with the possibility of achieving long-term success. 

With its pilot run implemented by the office, along with Education Development Center (EDC) and Quezon City University (QCU), this initiative aims to recognize the rights of OSY to social protection and development. 

From 2023 to the end of 2024, 5 batches of training with 230 youth completers have already been conducted. 137 out of 230 completers have also applied for Pangkabuhayang QC capital assistance. 

BYOB is part of the Quezon City Youth Development Alliance (QCYDA) programs.
