The Quezon City government, through the QC Veterinary Department (QCVD), has launched microchipping services for QCitizen pets. 

By implanting a microchip in an animal, all of its data, including the owner’s information, vaccination records, and other medical history, is collected and stored.

The city also conducts house-to-house vaccinations, public clinics, and caravans that offer various animal care programs, bringing veterinary services closer to QCitizens. 

For convenience, pet owners can now register their pets and submit vaccination requests online via the QC e-Services: QC Vet System. Check out the How to Register Your Pet to the QC Vet System guide for the step-by-step process. 

This initiative is part of the city’s commitment to providing quality veterinary services for QCitizen pets and owners. 

From January to June 30, 2026, a total of 1,811: 869 dogs and 942 cats have undergone microchipping.
