The Quezon City Government through the QC Youth Development Office (QCYDO) grants the Quezon City Scholarship Program (QCSP) that provides financial assistance to deserving students, especially underprivileged ones. The program has various scholarship categories:
- Scholarship for Senior High School Students
- Scholarship for Tertiary Students
- Scholarship for Postgraduate Students
- Scholarship for Continuing Education/Vocational Courses Students
For the school year 2025-2026, the city government expands the scholarship program with the QC Excel Scholarship Category, wherein a core group of scholars who reflect the standards of academic excellence, leadership, and volunteerism is created to represent the city’s scholars. Incoming first-year college students taking priority courses are eligible for the new category.
The city government has also increased the tuition subsidy and stipend for each scholarship program.
As of 2025, the city has a total of 39,566 scholars approved and accommodated by the QCYDO since its implementation in 2019. The program makes education accessible to deserving and qualified QCitizens.
