The Quezon City Gender and Development Council has set-up the NO WOMAN LEFT BEHIND program that aims to help improve the welfare of the city’s Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) during and after detention.
Under the program, women have been provided access to healthcare, education, and livelihood.
Healthcare
For healthcare they can avail of the laboratory services – CBC, Urinalysis, Fecalysis, ECG, Chem 5 and Pregnancy Tests. They are also given access to vaccinations including vaccines for the COVID-19.

Education
For education, they are offered complete elementary, junior and senior high school, and college education with the assistance of Quezon City University.

Livelihood
For livelihood, they can have access to opportunities such as Vote to Tote, and Repurposing Tarps along with other programs provided by the Small Business and Cooperatives Development and Promotions Office.


After Care Program
Also through the collaboration of the Quezon City Female Dormitory and the Social Services Development Department (SSDD) has introduced the After Care Program for released Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL). Under the program, the released PDLs are given financial assistance to start their new life and/or start a livelihood.
