The Quezon City Government through the Social Services and Development Department (SSDD) has distributed financial aid under the Educational Assistance Program.
Beneficiaries are the youth from indigent families and children at risk, like victims of abuse, those suffering from behavioral problems, and children in conflict with the law.
Since the start of the pandemic, the city has increased the children beneficiaries to 1,500 receiving P3,000.00 per child. This is over and above the other educational assistance and support the city has granted to public school students like tablet and free data-load for their online learning.
