As part of the city’s commitment to the environment, it has distributed almost 300 e-trikes to a beneficiaries from various barangays.  This project aims to promote energy efficiency and clean technology in the transport sector.

The beneficiaries received necessary training, and other incentives to make their

e-trike operation more sustainable. The city established a Green Zone Area,  comprising five barangays in District IV, wherein e-trikes are only allowed to travel within the routes.
