The Quezon City Government, through the QC Tourism Department (QCTD), has partnered with the Maginhawa Food Community in organizing the Maginhawa Festival— a whole day of live music, arts, crafts, delectable food, and activities that celebrate our culture.
Through the event, QC POP Merchants of the Small Businesses and Cooperatives Development and Promotions Office (SBCDPO), together with the MFC Merchants, were provided a platform to showcase and promote their businesses as they put up stalls along the street. The city government has also set up booths that offer QCID printing services and free legal consultation, courtesy of IBP- Quezon City, to QCitizens visiting the area.
This 2025, apart from the free concert and a variety of food and non-food products to choose from, different activities such as Palarong Pinoy, which promises a cash prize for the winning teams, and Zumba took place. In succeeding Maginhawa festivals, QCitizens can look forward to more exciting games and activities to participate in.
Maginhawa Festival happens twice a year, during Maginhawa Summer Fest every May and Maginhawa Arts and Food Festival every December. The event starts in the morning and usually ends at midnight.
