The Quezon City Government, led by the Business Permits and Licensing Department (BPLD), has launched the BE R.I.C.H.E.R. Scorecard— a user-friendly, comprehensive self-assessment tool that stands for Resilient, Inclusive, Climate-conscious, Healthy, Emergency-ready, and Responsive.
The tool conforms to the city’s set of pillars that reflect its vision for responsible business development and is primarily created to assist the local businesses in aligning their operations with global standards in resilience, equity, and sustainability.
BE R.I.C.H.E.R. Scorecard challenges business owners to lead with purpose and allows them to evaluate their business practices, point out what needs to be improved, and plan towards long-term success and social impact.
This was also made possible in cooperation with various government offices, including the Quezon City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (QCDRRMO), Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability Department (CCESD), Health Department (QCHD), Gender and Development Office (GAD), and the Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO).
The initiative is part of the city’s commitment to fostering a vibrant, competitive, equitable, and sustainable economy.
